Hoax or Just Plain Crazy!

So here I am watching Obama's, excuse me, President Obama's "Town Hall Meeting" here in New Orleans when I see a ticker at the bottom of the screen stating something to the fact 6 year old in basket of a runaway balloon.

Really any news probably could have driven my attention away from the shortest Town Hall Meeting on earth, I immediately turn the channel and my attention to CNN.

First of all the world is panic'd by the thought of a six year old boy being Flying Saucer look alike balloon. Looking AT the balloon I do not see any place a child or even a small animal could be hiding in, as well as how the heck does ONE person have that much helium in their backyard.

Finally something drops from the balloon yet it cannot be found. Watching the takes over and over, I think if that was a child his arms and legs would be seperating when falling and I felt at that moment this has to be a hoax. It is just too coincidental that the balloon looks just like an UFO.

The balloon finally comes to the ground and to no BIG surprise there is NO child inside. It's over no harm no foul.

OR IS THERE

Now on my ride into work this morning I hear that the father of this is some type of weather guy for CNN and is this brilliant brain who has this past March been on the reality tv series "WIFE SWAP".

The guy who made the balloon and released it "by accident", Richard Heene, based on his character from the video clips of Wife Swap was and has been out of control with his thinking and actions on the show.

So now he is back on television and possibly getting paid to be on talk shows is EXACTLY his bigger plan to make money. I personally think that if the child would not have been in the basket "possibly", then the hoax may have just gone off as a UFO. What I mean is that he lets the balloon up into the air then takes tons of snap shots and sells them as a UFO sighting. Who really knows, but we do know there have been tons of hoaxes and this smells like a big one.

I am glad I like my job, publishing and selling sales leads verses having to wake up every morning trying to HATCH a plan to make money.
